Covid-19 Information

The iSimangaliso Wetland Park Authority wishes to commend the behavior of the public this past weekend, who heeded the clarion call by the Government to stay at home. Only a handful of people showed up at the beaches and Park, and enquiries were received from some individuals who wanted to know whether they would be allowed access.

iSimangaliso would like to reiterate the earlier position that NO PUBLIC ACCESS will be allowed in the Park during the lockdown period. This is being done in the interest of public safety.

Anyone who is found trying to force their way through will be arrested and be brought to book by the South African Police Services.

In bolstering the Covid-19 awareness campaign, iSimangaliso has developed flyers and posters for distribution to our stakeholders, which are available to download in English and Zulu below. Please feel free to distribute them further. STAY INFORMED.
